SUPERNOVA Zine

For my 2D Design final, I chose to create a 14 page editorial design about the phenomenon and history of Afrofuturism. The idea came from seeing how the black community is portrayed in entertainment. Every movie and television series has to talk about trauma, hardship, and tragedy...I wanted to highlight a side of my community that isn't shown as much. After two and a half weeks of research and watching documentaries, this beautiful zine was born!!
